1. What Pullgrab does
Pullgrab does not host, upload or store copies of Instagram media. It retrieves content Instagram already serves publicly, at the request of the person using the tool, and streams it directly to that person; nothing is kept afterward.
2. If you believe your content is being misused
Because Pullgrab only retrieves what is already public on Instagram, most rights concerns are best addressed on Instagram itself, where you can report the original post or account. If you believe Pullgrab's own tool is being used to facilitate infringement of your copyright, you can send a notice under the Digital Millennium Copyright Act (DMCA) to [email protected].
3. What a valid DMCA notice must include
A written notice must include: (1) a physical or electronic signature of the copyright owner or a person authorized to act on their behalf; (2) identification of the copyrighted work claimed to have been infringed; (3) identification of the specific link or material you want removed or blocked, with enough detail to locate it, such as the Instagram URL you used with Pullgrab; (4) your contact information, including address, telephone number and email address; (5) a statement that you have a good-faith belief that the use is not authorized by the copyright owner, its agent, or the law; (6) a statement, made under penalty of perjury, that the information in the notice is accurate and that you are the copyright owner or authorized to act on their behalf; (7) if you would also like Pullgrab to try to prevent that specific Instagram content from being retrieved again through the Service, say so and we will add the identifier to our block list.
4. Counter-notification
If you believe content was blocked by mistake or misidentification, you may send a counter-notice to [email protected] including your contact details, identification of the blocked material, a statement under penalty of perjury that you have a good-faith belief the material was blocked by mistake, and a statement consenting to the jurisdiction of the federal court for your district (or, if outside the United States, for Clark County, Nevada) and that you will accept service of process from the person who filed the original notice.
5. Designated agent
Bitmap Coders LLC intends to register a designated agent with the U.S. Copyright Office. Until that registration is complete, please send notices to [email protected]; this page will be updated with the registered agent's details once available.
6. Repeat infringers
Pullgrab may permanently block any Instagram identifier that is the repeated subject of valid, unrebutted notices.
7. Response times
We review reports promptly, typically within a few business days, and confirm the outcome by email to the address you provided.
